🚨 When Running Isn’t Cardio… It’s Suspicious 🚨

This morning, our PCSOs were out on patrol when a male in his 30s caught their attention. He was shifting about, watching over his shoulder, and — in true suspicious behaviour fashion — was seen about to make a quick exchange. That was more than enough to pique their interest.

So, they watched.
Quietly.
Patiently.
Professionally…
Right up until he noticed them watching, glanced toward his nearest escape route, and clearly decided, “Nope, not today.”

Off he ran.
And that’s when PCSO’s collectively declared: game on. 🏃💨

PCSO’s including ‘The Hound’ immediately sprang into action — the nickname didn’t come from nowhere. As the male bolted, The Hound was already gaining on him with impressive determination.

What followed was a chase that could only be described as impressively one sided:
– The male in his 30s launched into a full sprint, instantly questioning his choices
– The Hound closed the distance with unwavering focus
– And the rest of the team moved in fast to make sure there was nowhere left for him to go

It wasn’t long before The Hound caught up with the male and brought the chase to a neat, controlled stop.

SNT officers arrived shortly after. A search of the male revealed 24 bags of suspected mamba, which explained the earlier exchange… and the sudden urge to run.
The male, in his 30s, was arrested and is now assisting us with enquiries.
